Luz Elena Aponte, “Lucy” as everyone calls her, was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to South Florida at the age of ten. Lucy has multiple developmental disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual and physical. She has evolved into a creative spirit, who wants to share her abstract creations with the world.
Notwithstanding the challenges of her disabilities, with the use of technology and a support team, Lucy is able to create designs that convey a very special meaning and message to those who see and purchase them. Lucy is also an active member of the community.
